Christmas cards are a timeless seasonal tradition and I’ve put together a few ideas for making use of them after the holidays are over.
A quick and easy way to recycle old cards is to make gift tags! All you need are some scissors or pinking shears (these give a prettier finish), a hole punch and some ribbon or string! Cut tag shapes out of your Christmas cards, punch a hole near the top, loop your ribbon or string through the hole and tie a knot to secure – all done!
These houses are adorable and a wonderful way to recycle Christmas cards. Attach fishing wire or ribbon to them and they make fantastic tree decorations! Find the tutorial at christmasnotebook.com
Another lovely way to upcycle Christmas cards, is by making these gorgeous artichoke ornaments. This tutorial used a flower painting book but cards will work just as well. Find out how to make these at allthingspaper.net
This upcycled card wreath looks stunning and is another fantastic use of old Christmas cards. Find the tutorial at molliemakes.com
